Frequently Asked Question

What does a caregiver do?

A caregiver takes care of someone with a chronic illness or debilitating disease. Common duties of a caregiver include managing the patient’s medications, bathing and dressing them, taking care of household chores, meals and other tasks that can’t be managed by the patient.

What’s the difference between a caregiver and a maid?

Our caregivers are put through a series of assessments and in-house training to ensure they possess the required level of competence to care for patients. Maids might or might not possess the same level of skills - their competence level is not regulated.

What’s the difference between a caregiver and a nurse?

The nurses we work with are registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board. They are professionally trained to perform medical procedures such as changing IV drips, injections, catheter insertions, etc. A caregiver is not qualified or allowed to perform any of these tasks.

How do you vet your caregivers and nurses?

Nurses are required to provide us with their registration number to verify that they are indeed registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board. Apart from that, all nurses and caregivers are required to submit the following:

  1. Certificate of good conduct

  2. Health assessment

They also go through orientation and in-house assessments to ensure they meet our standards of competence.

How do you monitor your caregivers and nurses’ performance?

Our caregivers are supervised by the designated Head Nurse. While on duty, all caregivers and nurses are monitored using our app to ensure they complete their tasks at the scheduled time. Patients can also rate the caregiver or nurse by awarding them virtual badges on the app.

How do you ensure that my health and private data is protected on your app?

How do you monitor your caregivers and nurses’ performance?

We take data privacy and confidentiality seriously. All personal data and commercial transactions are handled in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2010.

Where are your services available?

Our services are currently available in Klang Valley and Seremban, with plans in the pipeline for expansion to neighbouring cities in the near future.

Can I request a different caregiver or nurse if I’m not happy with the one assigned to me?

Absolutely. We will assign a new caregiver or nurse to your case within 24 hours of your request. It would also help if you could share with us the reason for the change, so we can prevent future recurrences.

Are your services endorsed or regulated by the Malaysian Ministry of Health?

Not currently, but it is something we are working on at the moment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations within 24 hours of the confirmed booking date and time will incur a late cancellation fee.
